User testing

For people comfortable speaking aloud, recording screens, and giving structured feedback.

Do this today

Laptop with microphone, or phone with screen recording. Quiet space required.

Medium. Must pass a practice test. Must think aloud clearly. Tests are competitive — not everyone gets every test.

Test volume varies. Screenouts happen after you start. Payouts can take 7-14 days. Do not expect daily tests.

Largest testing platform. per 20-min test typical. 14-day payout.

UX testing similar to UserTesting. Good second source.

Usability testing with website and app tests. Lower volume but accessible.

Mobile and desktop testing. Requires sample test to qualify.

Picture-in-picture testing. Some tests require webcam.

Day 1: Sign up for UserTesting. Complete the practice test. Install the screen recorder.
Day 2: Sign up for IntelliZoom and Trymata. Complete their onboarding/sample tests.
Day 3: Sign up for Userfeel and Userlytics. Submit sample tests.
Day 4-5: Keep dashboard tabs open. Take tests as they appear — they fill fast.
Day 6: Review your test ratings. If any were rejected, read the feedback.
Day 7: Log all tests taken, payments expected, and payments received in the tracker.
